What you will be working on
As the Head of Support, you will ensure they provide high-class customer support and ensure their customers’ experience with Pilot is excellent.
- The candidate should lead a team of customer support specialists distributed across various countries and time zones. You will be reliable for expanding the team as the organization grows.
- Should review and improve their support OKRs and make sure the team meets its goals
- Should gather, analyze and present support metrics and data during quarterly business reviews
- Collaborate closely with finance, product, and sales teams to ensure commonly reported issues are fixed in the most effective way
- Should manage support tools and execute better solutions as the team scales
- Should handle escalations and solve the most challenging problems
- Look after the most demanding clients and proactively help them get the most out of Pilot.
- Should be on top of all the product variations and make sure their knowledge base is up to date.
- Should be responsible for building and shaping their Help Center.
- The candidate must have experience building and leading distributed support teams. Verified track record in scaling teams and maintaining high-quality support.
- Must have experience implementing users with the product support
- Should have amazing communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have proficiency in English
- Strong work ethic and capacity to work without supervision. You are self-managed, autonomous, and proactive.
- You are hardworking, reliable, and keen to dive in and get your hands dirty. There is no job too menial for you.
- Availability to jump on a call with team members based in the Philippines, Brazil, and Europe.

- You speak Portuguese or Spanish.
- You have domain knowledge in international payments, international hiring, or payroll.
- Annual salary from $23,600 to $34,000 and up to 0.025% of equity.

- Must be able to work remotely from anywhere in the world.
- They try to hold most of their team meetings between 7 am–9 am PST / 3 pm–5 pm BST / 11 pm–1 am JST to accommodate as many time zones as possible.
