Overview

Primer is creating the next-generation checkout knowledge and a dashboard to repair complex engineering functions while decreasing the obstacles to combining with other payment services, breaking fresh ground everywhere. Challenges are plenty!

They are looking for an amazingly technical, ambitious, and product-focused UX writer to establish Docs plus Content as a first-class web product at Primer. They maintain documentation has the power to inspire delight and should be given the same attention and care to detail as any other product.

Docs aren't "just docs"; they are an experience! Their content offers an opportunity to express their personality and deep empathy for developers and customers.

You will

• Should establish developer docs as a first-class web product


• Should own their messaging and tone of voice and continually raise the bar for their standard of documentation


• Should write expressive and forward-thinking documentation for products, features and APIs


• Work jointly with their Co-founder and Head of Product plus Engineering and the engineering and product teams to author content and articulate


• Figure out how best to automate documentation over all channels whilst ensuring they deliver a personal touch and manage a cohesive messaging around how Primer works

Job Requirements

• The candidate must have experience in a senior or instrumental position at a developer-focused SaaS


• Must have a working knowledge of Git


• Strong familiarity with markdown and other templating languages and tools


• Some familiarity with backend languages, e.g. PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.
