Chili Piper is looking to develop their team, focusing on providing mid-market customers high-value resources to assure success. As a mid-market Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that their clients get everything they want to make the most of their expenditure with Chili Piper. Daily, you will be working with clients and work in tight partnership with the Customer Success team to
- Facilitate setting measurable objectives and outcomes with the Client
- Hold Client and Chili Piper accountable to delivering against success criteria
- Engage across the Clients organization and works cross-functionally within Chili Piper to recognize opportunities and risks, and present solution and recommendations
- Ownership for outcomes including risk mitigation and management, customer's value realization, and Customer and Chili Piper's respective success
What You Will Do
- The candidate should renew or expand their largest mid-market clients' contracts through great relationship building and value-add throughout their lifecycle with them.
- Should create expansion opportunities within different geographies or business units, new products, and additional sales seats
- Should define and review the success criteria with your client to ensure they are performing as demanded regularly.
- Leverage sales management tools like Salesloft and Salesforce to track sales activities
- Should sell to key decision-makers within mid-market businesses between 51-1000 employees. It would be best if you established strong partnerships with legal teams, procurement teams, and security teams in addition to the primary decision-makers in customer success, sales, and marketing departments.
- Identify clients at risk and provide the support needed with their Customer Success team to maintain and make them successful.
- Should work jointly with the Customer Success team to assure all success and onboarding standards are being met.
- Develop account plans to plan out approach alongside marketing and customer success to grow mid-market accounts.
What They are Looking For
- The candidate must have 1-2 plus years of sales experience working with mid-market level sales cycles
- Should have experience using Salesforce CRM
- Must have experience selling to Sales teams, and mid-market Marketing is preferred
- Must have the ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for both building and selling lasting relationships with clients
- Must have strong business acumen and comfort with presenting to and establishing relationships with senior-level executives in mid-market-level organizations
- Technologically savvy and capacity to learn and demonstrate new technology fast
- Must have proven ability to achieve and exceed goals and quotas
- The ability to work alone and collaborate within a team environment to accomplish set goals
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
