Overview

They seek an expert quality engineer who works almost with engineers to ensure the highest quality models and oversees releases for the best client experience.

This job is responsible for features quality and release. Daily work includes understanding client usage, being part of feature design development, executing test plans, creating test plans, and reporting to stakeholders.

You will need to learn and understand their product at a high level of detail and agree with developers and the business team in the execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead software test projects


• The candidate should design, develop, execute, and maintain manual tests and test data


• Should be reviewing and analyzing the results of test cases and exercises


• Should analyze failures and collaborate with Software Engineers to assure root cause is investigated


• Drive efficiencies to enhance the process and technical implementations Preparing documentation reviewing test results and providing clear status reports


• Communicating with business team clients and developers on specific application issues


• Prioritizing QA issues and facilitate issue resolution


• Working with product or project managers to build timing and assure the timely fulfillment of QA elements


• Work in close collaboration with test engineers and other software developers to produce high-quality products


• Should be developing and maintain QA guidelines and process documentation

Required Qualifications

• The candidate must have a minimum of two years of QA experience on web applications in multi-application production environments


• Must have experience with more than one types of testing, for example, ad hoc testing, regression testing, feature testing, user interface testing, security testing, integration testing, performance testing, and/or user acceptance testing, etc


• Should have excellent communication skills, both in oral and written


• Must also have strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills

These skills are not required but are a plus

• The candidate with BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience


• Willingness and ability to look into codebases outside one direct responsibility to recognize potential failure points


• Extensive experience with the frequent releases and Agile methodology


• Experience in multi-browser testing and multi-platform testing


• Experience with reporting and quality assurance metrics


• Experience in operating and managing automated tests


• Experience with database queries


• Experience in working with logging systems
