- They are hiring a Head of Sales to run all of the sales at Canny company
- First & foremost, this means selling Canny to manage revenue growth.
- This includes taking over their existing inbound pipeline, while concurrently figuring out how to make outbound work.
- As you read how to sell Canny successfully, it will be important that you document your findings.
- This way, they can eventually operationalize the process & build a sales team around it.
- Take over their existing inbound sales pipeline from Canny's founders
- Recognize your prospects' pain points & run product demos that will communicate the value of their solution to them.
- Make relationships with prospects & meticulously follow up throughout the method
- Manage contract negotiations & close deals
- Ensure a thorough handover of the client to the client success team for onboarding
- Ensure the client is getting value from Canny and is set up to renew & expand
- Generate qualified trial sign-ups & product demos through cold email/LinkedIn/phone/etc. outreach
- Identify & execute various strategies to determine their overall outbound strategy
- Become the best person at the company at selling Canny, inbound & outbound
- Always be on the lookout for ways to optimize their sales processes
- Know what goes into selling Canny well, & meticulously document your findings
- Operationalize your process to eventually hire & train SDRs & AEs to sell Canny successfully
- Determine quotas & compensation for SDRs and AEs as they ultimately build out their sales team
- Competitive base salary, equity, & uncapped commissions
