Overview



  • Smile company developer of the B2B SaaS productivity tool TextExpander seeks a proactive & energetic Director of Client Success with proven experience leading & growing a team in an evolving SaaS technology background.

  • As their Director of Customer Success and their first customer success hire, you are liable for the customer's happiness, first & foremost. 

  • You will use your experience in growing & managing a Success department to build, plan, and develop the team responsible for supporting and growing their active users. 

  • You will use onboarding, training, & ongoing support to encourage active use of TextExpander & continuous client team growth, retention, & satisfaction.

  • Your experience in developing a successful department means you can lead, but you are also ready to take Customer Success into your own hands.  

  • Initially, you will work alongside account management to be a trainer & consultant for clients of all sizes while you build your team to take on customer success needs and roles.  

  • You will also be responsible for planning, staffing, training, organizing, and onboarding, as well as directing the current support team.

Duties



  • Build, lead & develop an exceptional Customer Success group that lives Smile’s values: Passion for Customer, Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity

  • Execute Customer Success best practices over the teams

  • Work closely with new clients during their crucial starting period to assure maximum adoption and productivity

  • Conduct all client education and training through in-depth & instructional webinars

  • Create content & materials to support training and coaching

  • Provide smooth client onboarding through product training, tailored to clients’ business requirements

  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Account Management, and Product Design to ensure a seamless client experience

  • Proactively reach out to new clients to ensure they receive practical training

  • Maintain & nurture customer relationships on an ongoing base to ensure they maximize their potency with TextExpander

  • Gather customer feedback, review and filter for the Product team


Requirements



  • Five-plus years SaaS Customer Success leadership experience 

  • Proven track history of executing new processes that ensured success for a SaaS client base

  • Comfortable working with remote teams

  • Reliable, honest, smart, positive, organized, personable

  • Self-motivated, & satisfied with little supervision

  • Excellent written & spoken English communication skills

  • Comfortable with Mac, Chrome, Windows, CRM, iOS, video communication tools

  • Experience developing & giving training and webinars

  • Fast learner and eager to use new tools

  • Creative problem solver with close consideration to detail


Tech Needed for the Job



  • Reliable high-speed internet connection


Preferred Experience & Skills



  • College education

  • Prior customer service or support experience

  • Previous educator experience

  • Two-plus years working remotely
