About The Role


Their users are at the center of what we do (duh), and they are always trying to find better ways to help them. Alongside their Customer Success Lead, you will work closely with Product & Marketing to drive growth, engagement, & advocacy of Bonsai company. The Customer Success Advocate will use the front-line support communications to inform and encourage changes within the product, the team, & Bonsai as a whole.


The position will involve front-line, reactive maintenance where you will actively solve user problems & answer questions. This can mean fundamental feature-related problems or complicated defects. You won't always understand the answers, so your resourcefulness will be your highest asset. They answer inquiries through chat and email primarily, with the specific video onboarding call and are available to their users live Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm EST.


In addition to the front-line support, you will work to recognize trends in user behaviors & inquiries to help shape their product decisions. Simultaneously, you will have a hand in creating relevant content that allows users to make the most out of Bonsai company as quickly as possible.

  • This is an entry-level position with the chance to develop. Technical skills can be taught attitude and drive are what they are in the market for.


Responsibilities



  • Answering in-bound chat & email support requests from 9 am to 5 pm EST Mon to Fri.

  • Ensuring that aim metrics are met and maintained.

  • Fully engaging with and listening to their users to offer them advice on holistic level to assure they are getting the best experience from Bonsai company.

  • As an advocate for their users and Bonsai by communicating trends & insights back to stakeholders.


Requirements



  • Available to work Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm EST or a significant part of the overlapping time.

  • Experience giving exceptional client service of any type (in person or online).

  • Excellent typing abilities.

  • Ability to pick up various technological tools quickly.

  • Have strong writing, reading, and communication skills.

  • Maintain a high level of understanding, patience, and empathy. 

  • Able to operate more difficult conversations or communications with professionalism.

  • Are dedicated to continuous growth & learning. 

  • You know that every challenge is a chance, and you get excited about reading new things.

  • This is a fully remote job; you will require access to a proper working atmosphere, including high-speed internet.

  • Experience with Notion, Intercom, Excel, or Google Sheets, Stripe.

  • Experience working with or as a freelancer or entrepreneur.
