Job Details



  • Three plus years of Remote desktop support (Global support)

  • Willing to work in 24/7 Shift

  • Global voice support knowledge mandatory

  • Remote Desktop Support, Technical support, Bomgar tool, voice customer service, active directory, and support experience with problem-solving involving troubleshooting hardware, including hardware, software, and network issues.


Job Responsibilities



  • Coordinate desktop changes to avoid deployment collisions

  • Make requests for rollout

  • Prioritize change requests

  • Design rollout plans for changes requests

  • Adjust the implementation process

  • Please keep track of application and make sure they are executed as planned

  • Participate in incident handling concerning desktop changes

  • The candidate should participate in projects concerning more significant desktop changes, for example, the rollout of new antivirus

  • Microsoft environment knowledge (desktop and server)

  • The candidate should have some level of technical understanding of the products building up a desktop service

  • The candidate should have experience from the desktop environment

  • The candidate should have an understanding & experience of the change management process


Technical Requirements



  • Phone support experience necessary

  • Technical Service desk / technical call center experience is required

  • Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills needed

  • Windows Operating systems

  • Clients: Windows7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000

  • Servers: Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows 2008

  • The candidate should know Active Directory, Exchange 2007/2003

  • ITSM ticketing tools as Remedy, HP Service Center, Remote desktop connectivity applications like SMS, Bomgar, WebEx, Live Meeting, and Windows Native tools

  • Internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, Firefox),

  • Support for laptop, desktops, and printers

  • PDA & Blackberry support


Other Skills / Experience



  • Capability to successfully provide hardware/software/network problem analysis and resolution help over the phone.

  • ITIL knowledge of V2 or V3, mainly on Service Desk, Incident, Problem, and Change management.
