  • Global Voice support knowledge mandatory (Voice process)

  • Provide software / hardware / network problem diagnosis / resolution via telephone/chat/email for clients end-users

  • Route problems to internal second and third level IT support staff

  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with vendors and help staff that provide hardware/software/network problem resolution

  • Administer and give User account provisioning

  • The candidate should use the Incident Management System to document and manage problems and work requests and their respective resolutions and circumventions

  • Answers to telephone emails, calls, instant messages, and assigned tickets from users

  • Assign work orders or incidents to appropriate support teams and follow up till closure

  • The candidate should respond to, and diagnose, problems through discussions with users, including problem recognition, logs, research, resolution, isolation, and follow-up steps

  • Provide level 1 remote desktop support and perform other activities based on SOPs

  • Perform user account management activities

  • Escalate complex problem to appropriate support specialists

  • Responsible for activities relating to the evaluation, analysis, and setup of PC-based software products (e.g., word processors, presentation graphics, spreadsheets, electronic mail, database management systems, and communications)

  • Troubleshoot client software and fundamental network connectivity problems


Technical Requirements



  • Phone support experience needed

  • Technical Service desk or technical call center knowledge is necessary

  • Disciplined, systematic problem-solving abilities needed

  • Hands-on work practice with the following

  • Windows Operating systems

  • Clients: Windows7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000

  • Servers: Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows 2008, Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange 2003/2007

  • ITSM ticketing tools such as Remedy, HP Service Center, Peregrine Service Center

  • User account creation for Exchange Mailboxes, Active Directory, Distribution lists

  • Remote desktop connectivity applications like SMS, Live Meeting, Bomgar, WebEx, and Windows Native tools

  • MS Office Suite (XP, 2003, 2007): MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS Project, MS-Outlook, and MS Visio

  • Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Explorer, Firefox), VPN and remote dial-in users

  • Support for desktops, laptop, and printers

  • PDA and Blackberry support


Years of Experience



  • Six months to three years of Service desk (voice process)

  • The candidate should be willing to work in 24/7 Shift

  • Global voice support experience mandatory

  • Technical support, voice client service, and support experience with problem-solving involving troubleshooting hardware, including hardware, software, and network issues


Note: Candidate who has experienced with international voice support can appear for the interview.
